Hi, everyone, a very Merry Christmas to you all!

This year I wish to share Sanne’s beautiful holiday message with you. She is one of our amazing Kevin artists who also creates our monthly calendars.

Sanne recently revamped her popular Sorbo’s-Tribute website (story to come) and gave us some stunning art for Advent, as well as many other lovely pieces. She topped her Christmas art this year with the following great collage. Many, many thanks, dear friend!

Mara’s Kevin Sorbo calendars: He is aware Brazilian ladies are not shy…

Have you wondered about the fantastic artists behind the great Kevin Sorbo calendars you see here? Query no longer, my friends! Mara from Brazil is one of them who graces us each year with some amazing artwork. Here are her December 2011 and a glimpse of her 2012 (including links to where you can download all 12 months for free!) calendars, as well as a brief story about what inspires her to make them.

Jan, generous and kind as usual, asked me to write a few words about my 2012 fan Kevin Sorbo’s hot calendar. Thank you for that, darling.

I was trying to do something by “using” Kevin’s body… However, I wanted the collages to be about the “these days” Kevin, not “Hercules times Kevin,” nor modeling times, either.

There’s a reason for that: I think (against Kevin’s own opinion) Kevin is handsomely, gorgeously getting older. Those who watched The Kings of Mykonos or Soul Surfer can tell: Kevin keeps hot!

Sam Sorbo generously had allowed me to make sexy collages of Kevin last year… So, why not have a chance to look at Kevin all year long the way he looks today? I know I love to do it…

I started the collages in June (2011) for I’m not a pro and I had to do and undo them many times. But, it’s a pleasure “handling” Kevin… LOL!

Last month two Brazilian fans bought signed photos from Kevin and they are my friends… So I asked them and they allowed me to use what Kevin had written to them in two of the calendar collages. Kevin is aware Brazilian ladies are not shy, so he spelled the phrases the way we like it the most on the photos… Thank you for that, Kevin!

That’s why October and November calendars have got his lovely spelling with naughty invitations on them… Give me ideas, you know? LOL!

I love to look at Kevin all days, and those fans who would like to pick up and print the calendars are most welcome to do it. Please feel free to post them elsewhere as well so more fans can look at him all 2012 along…

Sam Sorbo talks hubby Kevin Sorbo & True Strength: He truly is my hero

Actress/model Sam (Jenkins) Sorbo was perhaps best known as both Princess Kirin and Serena, the Golden Hind in several episodes of “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,” as well as Dr. Sara Riley, Captain Dylan Hunt’s fiancée in “Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda.” She also appeared as Sarah, the Preacher’s wife in the Hallmark movie, “Avenging Angel.”

While filming her first appearance in “Hercules” in 1996 Sam met and immediately fell in love with Kevin Sorbo and vice versa. He proposed marriage six months later. They wed in January, 1998, and soon three little Sorbos (Braedon, Shane and Octavia) came along.

However, during the couple’s brief courtship, Kevin, the model of strength and veracity, experienced a series of devastating strokes in his brain in 1997 that all but left him incapacitated. Sam remained by his side, temporarily relinquishing her burgeoning career without hesitation for the man she loved and providing the support he so desperately needed.

Sam contributed several chapters to Kevin’s recently published memoir, True Strength: My Journey from Hercules to Mere Mortal and How Nearly Dying Saved My Life (Da Capo Press, ISBN 978-0-306-82036-6) that outlines Kevin’s physical and mental struggles and subsequent recovery from his strokes. He dedicated his book to her.
